Ok so i know there was a couple of other thread out there for this issue but for some reason (maybe i'm missing some steps or something) i still can't connect to my works 2010 Exchange Server. Their server is https://mymail.northbay.org and i put in all the correct information and i keep coming back with a user name and password not valid. Not sure what i'm doing wrong or if it's even an issue that's on my end that i can fix but it's be really helpful to get it going so i can recieve emails while out in the field. Thanks for any help ya'll can throw my way.

I can tell you it works with our exchange 2010 so it can work. perhaps you need another username (try mailadress instead of username) or take a easier password for the beginning.
It could also be a certificate problem, try Palm Support : Installing self-signed and privately issued certificates . You could install lumberjack to get more infos on the error you are recieving.

I also use Exchange server-2010.
From what i know: 1. It could be a problem of access to the mail server. Speak to your mail admin in this regard 2. It could be a problem of certificate. Use the built in browser to navigate to the web-site: https://mymail.northbay.org and it put up certificate error / warnings select the appropriate option that is flashed. Installing the certificate is a good option. I tried to navigate to the site and my Google Shrome did not throw up any warnings so you should not be having problems. K |
