since youview has pulled their app is there an alternative that i am missing? i would like to have visual voicemail and must have the ability to open up office attachements. i know smart picsel is available but with quickoffice on the phone i thought that was all i would need, but it doesn't seem to work. it opens but thats about it. is there a patch or fix that someone could tell me about?

also i know there is gvoice or synergv are those viable replacements? i don't use a google voice or have a number but i'd set one up if this was the answer

Edit: now quickoffice is letting me view my files. Idk what the heck was going on before but at least ghats working.

Pre 3 has visual voicemail built-in. I stumbled across it on Friday night and was able to get it working on Verizon. Not bad!

edit: I added it by going to phone -> preferences and accounts -> add account

I only have the option to add a
skype account. Does anyone
how to add this option? Would
it be possible to copy a file from
someone else with vvm enabled?

Visual Voice Mail was briefly trialed in the UK but it never really took off. I tested it for free then they never offered a pay for service.

How did you get it to work? It's listed under 'accounts' but doesn't work for me. Thanks

if i'm remembering correctly, built in visual voicemail is only available on the verizon version. so if you have the att version, you're out of luck. just like i am.

Guess I'm not that familiar with visual voicemail, but I do have it added to my 'accounts' on my Verizon Pre 3. I don't think it works, unless I don't know how to use it. I suspect that may be the case...
