Default HP Preł Default Email Signature for AT&T

Hi everybody,

Does anybody know what the HP Preł default email signature is for AT&T?
On my Palm Pre Plus, for AT&T, it's "Sent from my Palm Pre".

I was just curious...

David

Try sending yourself an email? Or did you change the default?

Awesome, thanks!

I love my Palm Pre Plus and I believe if opt for the HP Pre3 I'd want a rear cover and boot screen that displays "palm"...

It is simple to change. In the email application, just select the account and edit the string shown under SIGNATURE.

Yup I know, I've owned quite a few smartphones. I just wanted to find out what the default was from the factory.
I'm not sure if there's a patch to change the boot screen from "HP" to "Palm". Also, I haven't seen a Palm branded rear cover for the HP Pre 3...

There's a thread or a wiki entry on changing boot screens, look for it. There's two images, the glow and the regular, and the machine does the fade animation. All you'll need to do is to scale up the old boot logo and place it on a canvas that has the correct resolution for Pre3.

There isn't a back cover with a Palm logo, but the HP logo has a tendency to fall off, so without the silver/chrome it becomes less noticeable

Thanks for the heads up, I'll look for it.

I've heard of it falling off before. I hope someone would make an aftermarket rear cover for the Pre 3.

I immediately thought of this:
How to change the (ridiculous) AT&T e-mail signature | Android Central

Not the how-to itself, but the email signatures it talks about.

- Sent from my HP Pre3

Just added a spare account to my AT&T Pre3 to verify, so there you go.

I've just had an idea that maybe the signature could be dynamic: put a tag like '{dynsig}' in the signature, and when the mail is sent a tagline is retrieved and inserted at that spot. Maybe something along the lines of "there are only 10 days until the world ends".

"There are only -5 days until the world ends!"

I believe I'm ready to go back to my primitive, once ubiquitous, flip-phone.

A time when texting and facebook didn't exist; a different time, a different world...

A time when cellular phones were suitable as building material.
