I had the exact problem with my pre 2. I concluded that it was 2.2.4- because I doctored it with 2.2.4 three times, all of which resulted in a boot loop. I eventually tried 2.1.0, and have never had that problem again. (about 5 months)

Redirect your output to a text file, then open the text file and copy it out.

Change your directory to something writable, like /media/internal?
