If it doesn't fall off it will get scratched up anyway. The sooner you take a razor blade to it to get the rest of it off, the sooner you can get to enjoy a clean look that you don't have to worry about placing down on most surfaces.

despite the coolness, any attempt will look bad and fall off considering it's designed to hold an inset circular HP rather than PALM lettering.

Unless it's a completely custom back of course

Yup, that's what I figured and I guess no one sells one online either.
I barely obtained my first webOS device (Pre Plus) after all these of years
and I wish someone would have told me sooner...

Are people still content with the HP Pre 3 or do they use other devices in
conjunction with HP Pre 3?

I still love my Pre3 and only carry two devices because I have an SMS bug I haven't taken the time to work out, so my SIM is in a Veer and I carry the Pre3 because it has all my data on it, looking forward to being back to just the Pre3 soon I hope.

Has the hardware survived daily use? My Palm Pre Plus' hardware seems a little cheap, although worth it due to the amazing webOS! I'm considering getting the Pre3 despite iOS and Android seem to be prevalent among users right now...

Hardware has been great if I can just get this SMS bug worked out (didn't spend any time on it last weekend) I will be back on my beloved full time.

I don't have an sms bug but my Google IM doesn't want to work. Even though I have messaging chosen as an available service, it doesn't show it as available to use in messaging :/

Suggestions anyone? I know this is off topic I just didn't want to make a new thread.

In Preware, have you seen the patch "Google Talk login fix"? I'm not sure if that would help...

Thank you I installed that patch a couple weeks ago and it didn't do anything. But I just turned the messaging off under the account preferences for google, restarted, turned it back on and now it seems to work. Been months since I had google talk working. Go figure.
