    Hello Sirs and Madams,

I have tried to put up with the 2.2.4 update, which automagically installed itself overnight. I had specifically instructed it not to, but... I had to doctor it because I still had 2.2.3 patches and stuff was nog working correctly.

The main issue now is battery life and wifi. I can leave it locked and idle overnight and it will cost me about 40%.
Battery life was excellent for its size, but using it as my secondary phone, it is now somewhat useless.

My question to you fine people.. Sirs (or madams), how can I get back to 2.2.3 and make sure the phone will not update itself to a newer version? At least not 2.2.4..

I can only get a hold of doctor v2.2.0 or 2.2.4.

I have a UK unbranded model. I am not sure I had 2.2.3 or 2.2.0. I believe it was 2.2.3, but I can be mistaken. Then the question would be how to make sure I will not get the update.

    I thank you in advance.
