Bluetooth Headsets and the Pre3

Is there a way to have my Bluetooth headset announce the number or name of the caller for inbound calls? Is this typically the phone or the Headset? I am using the Motorola H17 with my AT&T Pre3. I've tried to find an answer to this question, but haven't been able to locate one.

Well I really have no idea but I would be more inclined to say that thats dependent on the ear piece, mainly due to the fact that my car's Bluetooth announces whos calling.
