That is weird. Chrome has been acting really squirrelly on me lately for downloads and links. Not sure if something needs to be fixed, but even though it's a bit faster of a browser, FF seems to be able to do more without errors. I was able to download from the link on FF but not Chrome either.

I'd just doctored to 2.2.4 ROM, no problems found so far...
Seems that they fixed the phone. Actually I used to have problems while trying to use favorites and it dialed a different contact, but if I scrolled the screen, it worked. I'll try it further and let you know.

That's not entirely correct. He said that beyond 2.2.x, it doesn't seem possible to expect updates. :0)
This could be the last update from HP

Last couple of days or so same here- I think it autoupdated & something got messed up. I'm having the same issues with links and downloads & it just started happening.

AFAIR someone from HP on the dev forums said that, not Rod.

I think there is trouble in WebOS world. When I try to go to the HP Palm page to see my device and sign into my profile this is what I get:

I downloaded the AT&T version a couple times, no errors but it is only 12 Mb. 2.2.3 was 222 Mb. This makes me suspect it is missing something....

Been running the ROW version for a few hours now, it was on charge with screen locked all night and when I picked it up this morning it was really hot (40ish degrees). Might be because I usually run overclocked/undervolted, but hmm.

Check your average load and battery drain with Govnah?
  11. #51
Battery drain got quite high when it was hot, around -500 to -700 mAh. I was running UberKernel 1.9Ghz, but I think in the meantime I'm going to stick with 1.5ghz. And I don't really understand how load average works, the fact that there are three numbers always confused me.

For those looking for Skype, it's not included on the ROM image, at least it's not showed as an available account to be added.
I'm on ATT unlocked, using it on outside US carrier, so it didn't showed it on the catalog neither.

I doubt this is the issue. I had no problems downloading from India.

Last time I checked Holland and India have different IP ranges?

I tried IE and Opera; no dice.
Set the proxy in Opera to a US IP, and it worked.
Tested from different computers with different IPs.

No problems here from Holland (The Netherlands). I use Opera, but I don't use any proxy.
