I'm having trouble not having buyers' remorse -- not because of the products, but because of the price volatility.

TP#1 bought at $400 before firesale
    firesale! luckily got price match
TP#2 (gift) ordered on HP SMB $150
    cancelled
TP#3 (gift) ordered on Amazon OnSale $150
    cancelled
    TP#4 (gift) ordered on B&N $125
    cancelled
    TP#5 (gift)
    eBay $275
    TP#6 (gift) white 64GB
    eBay $400
    TP#7 OnSale fulfilling order
shipped $175, ebay prices now <$250
==overpaid $275 with an extra TP

    Verizon Pre2 #1 $50
    cancelled
    Verizon Pre2 #2
    eBay $160
    ==overpaid $110

    AT&T Pre3
eBay $450, now selling for $250
    ==overpaid $200

    Total overpaid = $585
    so very depressed right now.

    I bought: 1 16gb touchpad 99.00
    1 32gb touchpad 150.00
    4 pre 2's 210.00
    2 pre 3's 800.00
    1 veer 87.00

Too many numbers but its way too much money.

Didn't waste any $.. Love my touchpad and pre 2... Plus at the moment I'm too lazy to write out all that I've bought so far lol....

I too paid 450 for the Pre3. Oh well, it meant I got it before anyone else!

All values in New Zealand dollars:

Pre- and touchstone (bought from Europe, unlocked, shipped to NZ) $812.00
second touchstone (bought from US (ebay) shipped to NZ) $38.00
Pre+ (bought from US (ebay, unlocked) shipped to NZ) $213.00
TouchPad + case + keyboard (bought from US (ebay), shipped to NZ) $433.00
Veer (bought from US (ebay, unlocked) shipped to NZ) $182.00

So in nearly 2 years of use I've spent NZ$1678 (roughly US$1300!!!!!) on webOS devices/accessories. Yes, it's official - I have a problem

A lot of that price is cause by the price of shipping (eg the veer is costing me US$35 to get to my door!) and the fact that the NZ dollar had a crap rate against the Euro when I first bought that Pre-

    32GB TP: $270
    Pre Plus: $100
Having the whole family under one roof: Priceless.

    I spent a lot, didn't waste a penny.

More than I ever imagined spending - more than I've ever imagined loving the Os = enough to last a while.

So far on the Pre 3, I have wasted the following:

    1. Sprint ETF to switch to Verizon prior to end of unlimited data: $150
    2. Purchase of Droid X2 on new contract with Verizon to hold me over: $150
    3. Additional monthly cost because Verizon's service is that much more than Sprint's: $60 *3 months so far
    4. Purchase of a Pre 2 when realizing the Pre 3 may or may not happen: $140

So that's well over $500 and counting... if I jump on an AT&T one, then I've got a $350 ETF and I lose unlimited data...

All this and I don't have a Pre 3 yet..

Try to secure one of the elusive Verizon Pre3's. If they don't accept the ESN, just masquerade it as your Droid X2 ESN.

Paid $500 for mine... getting it this week. Overpaid by like $200.

I could've used that money to complete my collection, I just need a Pixi Plus and a Pre 2.
Palm IIIc -> Sony CLIÉ T650C -> Sony TJ-37 -> Palm TX -> Palm Centro -> Palm Pre Bell -> Palm Pre Plus Bell/Verizon Hybrid -> HP Veer -> HP Pre 3 NA -> BlackBerry Classic -> BlackBerry Priv

It's a Late Goodbye, such a Late Goodbye.

Working on it. The wife would kill me for spending $750 on it though (as that is the only known sales price so far for one...)

I have yet to see one pop up on the fleabay, though I'm getting hopeful based on the number of AT&T versions showing up...

I bought Pre 3 from German with help from a friend there. Bought TouchPad bundle from eBay that not yet arrived. Total around $750.

Over $1500. (2 Pre 2 and a Touchpad) I am told I can't get a refund on the TP from London Drugs.

Tragedy - is it is such a great device.

A Pre3, a TP, and two touchstones for the TP = $520. Not a penny wasted. In fact they're making me money (I'm a developer)

Spent--not wasted. No regrets in life. If you keep waiting technology always gets cheaper but how do you quantify the the time you got to use it? Also, what if you hung out waiting and missed out? Don't look back because you could afford the stuff when you bought it right?
PDA Lineage: Palm Pilot, Palm V, Palm Tungsten, Treo 650 (Cingular), Treo 750 (AT&T), Treo Pro GSM (unlocked), Pre Plus (AT&T), Pre 2 GSM (unlocked), Pre 3 16GB (AT&T Branded) and Touchpad 32 GB
