A question to an owner of both Pre 3 and Pre 2. What is the size (I mean dimensions, not the capacity) of the Pre 3 battery ? Is it the same as Pre 2 battery ?

I only have Pre- for comparison, but it is my belief that Pre and Pre2 batteries are identical.

The Pre3 battery is physically larger and (I believe, I have not measured) a little thinner, and the contacts are different.

its a complete different battery - but on the plus side, its more powerful so less need for the backup.

Pre 3's power management seems a lot better - 3 days in....

    Thanks for the info.
Do you know if any third party manufacturers are selling a spare pre3 battery?

Might be a good idea to buy a spare before they all disappear

3 days? LOL. No way. My Veer lasts longer than my pre3.

3 days possible with no auto sync and steady 3g signal, but 2 days is more realistic. Use the hotspot feature and the battery will die very quickly.
