    I just placed an order on the Palm Store Europe Select Your Language : Palm Store EMEA for the Pre 3 and the Touchpad. The Touchpad is out of stock, (although the system says it is in stock). The Pre 3 is in stock. The customer service guy confirmed that they have hundreds in stock. And more to come. He said that the price will be reduced today from 299 to nearer 99. And that they may bundle the touchstone charger. I've ordered one at 299 just now. And they will refund the difference.
    The phone number from the UK is 0845 090 0265. And the call centre is based in Dublin, Ireland. I got through straight away. This is not BS.

    I received this email 2 minutes ago:

    "Dear Customer,

    Thank you for contacting the Palm Store Customer Service.

    Please be advised that HP are planning to announce a price reduction for
    Palm Pre 3 today or tomorrow. We are holding off all shipments to enable us
    to
    pass that price reduction on to you. The price reduction is very
    significant ( over 60% saving ) and the new price will be around 100.
    We expect to get the clearance on the price today and will ship units
    tomorrow for delivery by the end of the week. Also the price difference
    will be refunded accordingly.

    Should you have any further questions or concerns please let me know.
    I will be happy to assist you further.

    that's enough for me just bought three pre3's through palm eurostore UK.

    i was refreshing all day yesterday and it always said "in stock, 299". this morning it went "out of stock". just now it went "in stock" again but still 299 (i bought it at 299, banking on the refund). something is happening!!

    oh boy oh boy oh boy. how EXCITING

    Right, just ordered mine! Even if there are no new apps from now on, it's still a step up from my Centro!

    Are people getting the email about the price reduction separately from their confirmation emails? I've got my confirmation but it's still for 299! Argh!

    Can we use different billing address and shipping address on palm eurostore? i would like to buy it with my credit card and send it to my friend in uk so that i can receive it next month.

    I did but I'm not sure about a US billing address.. it should be fine.

    Yep, that was my idea too. I will return it if they charge the normal price. No problem from Germany.

    Did anybody realize how slow the store was shortly and also (for germany) shortly out of stock after the first comment here about the reduction mail ;-)

    Moreover there is no option of selecting other countries in shipping address field, Why cant they accept CC from other countries....

    Do you have any idea how often we get this when trying to buy something from the US?

    Just re-ordered a Pre3 from Palm's Eurostore - for the reduced price I am willing to ride a dead horse ...

    Trying to order through palmstore - added item - address - it's now just sat processing for at least 3 -4 mins - "The server is processing your request. Please wait."

    Should I refresh/start again - or wait!!

    i haven't got it yet, my confirmation email says 900 (for 3). ouch!

    i'm not too worried, though. i expect that email and price reduction to come in the next few days.

    just talked to a rep and he said they won't ship outside Europe.
