"u" > "you", how to disable replacement during writing

When I write TEXT message, PALM PRE replace single character "u" with english word "you". I dont write in english, so this feature should be disabled for me.

Will anybody give me any advice?

You can modify the auto-correct dictionary though an app:

Thank you. I have found this app too, but I hope there should be a "standard" solution for non-english people
