vlc and shared folder

Hi I am trying to access my shared folder through my vlc remote because that is where all my media is stored.

oo ya sorry it wont let me access my shared folder use the vlc remote. ie I can't access my movies in my living room with the vlc remote because it wont allow me access my shared folder.

have a look at the news/tips section in the app itself for tips on this.

the key is mapping the drive to a letter.
