When ever I try to use my vlc remote on my android os, it keeps giving me this error. Any help? I am using an archos 10.1 2.2 android os tablet with windows 7
I File reading failed: VLC could not open the file "/B:\Media\Movies\Airplane!.avi". Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'file:///B:\Media\Movies\Airplane!.avi'. Check the log for details |

easy fix on that one.
just update to a more recent copy of VLC!

Also I was wondering if I could ask an other question. So my setup is
Media-pc Home-pc Laptop-pc archos 101 2.2 Droid Now my home is sharing the media. How can I use vlc remote to access my shared folders? |

there are some tips in the in-app news on this
essentially, you have to map any shared folders to drive letters for VLC to read them.
