Having VLC Streaming able to interact with media servers like Twonky or with linux in general would be a good feature to have.
I have a Western Digital 1TB network harddrive with TwonkyMedia server. I've added it to VLC Streamer manually with the correct port (9000) but it can't get a file list. I also use AirPlayer (on iPod Touch) and can get access to it no problems, but it doesn't have the feature range of VLC - like buffering, that plays movies more smoothly. |
