Hi,
VLC Remote doesn't make URL encoding to MRL's. I.e. when you for example add a file to playlist with file:// URL, it doesn't change Scandinavian characters to safe Ascii characters. Refer to HTML URL Encoding Reference. VLC player doesn't like MRL's that are not encoded properly. Here is the error message you get. File reading failed: VLC could not open the file "D:\Antti Tuisku - Hengit??n\01 - Antti Tuisku - Hengit??n.mp3". Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'file:///D:\Antti Tuisku - Hengitän\01 - Antti Tuisku - Hengitän.mp3'. Check the log for details. |
