What is vague about PDAnet? Or Bluetooth DUN?

Get PDANet, It'll do both USB cable connect method or bluetoth method.
Sorry, it's not free but it's worth it. Buy it.
You could try Bluetooth DUN instead if you have a version of the 650 supports it, but the feature is removed from some carrier's models. If you have it but it's a ***** to set up. There are BT DUN set up instructions at palm.com treo 650 support site http://www.palm.com/us/support/treo/treo650gsm/ (Just look for dial-up networking) under the 'handbooks' on the right side of the page. But I still prefer/recommend PDANet as it works better and is easier to use.

I suggest a new feature for the users of TreoCentral. I do not think it would be too hard to implement. Let's say that when you log in to post in the forums, in your avatar, it would display your last five or ten searches. That when when someone who has 2 or 3 posts to their name posts some question that has been covered in hundreds of threads, we can scold them accordingly after looking to see what they searched for. I gurantee that whoever searched for this thread was too lazy to do a real search. PDANet and DUN have been covered extensively since the 600 was released.

To say that it hasn't been covered is rubish. No wonder the rest of the world shuns our work ethic in America. We won't even spend time to look up things we're obsessed with!!! I check TreoCentral more than my email some days!!!! on1sony.... do a stinking search. Anyone who has been around these forums for a while realizes how little you searched.

And WHY IN GOD'S NAME WOULD YOU TAKE YOUR LAPTOP TO THE BEACH!!!!! Try an interaction with real people for a change. You think a girl cares how big a laptop you have? ....in fact your pale white skin scares and blinds her from 400 yards. Forgive my sterotypical assumptions, but I detest people who refuse to search. Search next time and you'll be spared the scolding from numerous memebers. One too many beers at the casino and I'm ready for a good online fight... ;o)

I think a wiki/faq section would be easier, FWIW....but that might not be so bad either.

By the way, yes, this topic has been discussed out of the wazoo. Key words are "BT DUN" and "PdaNet".

I did a 2 second search for BT Dun and got this:

that amuses me is that you took your sweet time to write 3 creative paragraphs to me lecturing about your philosophy on how somebody should go about using this site. But you fail to just answer the simple question that I have asked to begin this thread. Your a complete ***** and hypocrite.

Well if you're too lazy to search for the answers, you probably wouldn't be able to figure it out anyway.
And don't waste our time saying "I searched but..." BULL. If you would have really searched you would find answers out the wazoo. This board is full of great users and great info. However, those that don't help themselves, don't get very far.

So just for you, No. It's not possible.

And if you start personal attacks, you'll most likely be banned before the day's done.
