No he said whilst browsing some "cataloge" at work, "it listed a Treo 650 from Sprint." And added "I did not have any pricing or a picture (well it had a picture but that was of the 650)."

Therefore the logical conclusion is it must be a 670

    That's different then.
If I would have just read the post right, this line could have just cleared it up for me from the beginning.

I think the catalogue data entry guy made the same mistake as you did.

No, All they put in the cataloge was that they will have a "Sprint Treo 670" at the "product show". They used a picture of the 650 though ( i think since they dont want to show the 670 till they show).

I don't know if the 670 listing was a miss-print or not. They put it under new products too.

If the 670 title listing is a miss-print they made 2 mistake since the 650 is not a new product. They didn't have much information listed, only that picture and the title. The only other thing it said was that more information would be available at the show.

If it is a miss-print, oh well. If it's not, our store's rep is going to get to see a 670 when she goes to the show.

That's what I was thinking. The catalogue editor was so excited about the new Treo 650 that he naturally typed 670 in the copy text and then inserted a picture of a Treo 650. NO WAIT! I'm sure he meant 670 since it's a lot harder to change one number into another one than it is to go through the trouble of inserting a misleading picture. NO WAIT! He was thiniking Treo 700, but wrote 650 and went looking for a Treo 270 picture. NO WAIT . . .

Maybe we could just get the mods to delete this thread and that would stop the madness.

    When is the show?

We already have a thread for the 670. Please keep the discussion there.
