    try calling palm..

In the old days you could buy 3rd party replacement digitizers, but haven't seen those for ages...

I believe there are some companies specialised in repairing palms too, but forgot their name.. so calling palm is your best bet..

I think I have seen posts saying that palm charges about $200 for screen replacement.

Palm One's website says $179 for any out of warranty repair for Cingular formerly AT&T Treo 650's. For Cingular Treo 650's it says to contact Cingular.

You can also pay an additional $25 for advanced replacement.

They aslo say no beyond repair units accepted such as water damage or crushed.

I was told by Cingular that they don't offer insurance (extended warranty) on the Treo 650. Is it offered by other companies?

If you got insurance for comp usa they could swap you a new phoone with no problem.
Take it to yur carriers store and let them order you a new one.
Hopefully you won't have too much of a problem.

Actually CompUSA will not replace if the screen is broken. Trust me I tried that route already. They don't do screen breakage

I will keep you in mind. That phone of mine that has the busted screen is not what is really wrong with it. I got the phone wet and I busted the screen to try and return it. Well to my surprise they don't cover busted screens so I shot myself in the foot when trying to return it.

CompUSA told me that they didn't offer insurance with the Treo650 when I bought mine in January.
