I need help. I have an unlocked treo 600 thats banded CDMA. It was unlocked from sprint. I want to use it on my Metro PCS plan. Metro says it is impossible because the ESN for metro is 11 digits and my treo is 8 digits. Is it possible to activate it? If so, what do I do to get it activated on to my plan.

I don't know if this will help you get the phone activated, but the 8 digit ESN is the hex number. The 11 digit ESN is the decimal number. Both should be on the phone.

Take the Treo and go to the phone application. Dial ##786#. This should give you your decimal ESN along with timers and other useful information.

    Good luck!

Thanks for you response! I dont see any 11 digit # on the phone, how would I find it? One guy said phone applications, but I dont see that anywhere in the phone's programing. Keep in mind, I'm not a tech person at all

Remove the battery and you'll see a sticker that contains the 11-digit ESN DEC# as well as the ESN HEX and serial numbers.
