I have a Treo 600 and use Cingular as a provider. I am on my second Treo since Feb. because whenever I call my voice mail from my Treo, the sound is all garbled and I cannot understand my messages. So I decided to try calling into my Treo Voice Mail from my land line and I can hear my messages perfectly. I also called my Treo voice mail from another cell phone and I could also hear the messages perfectly.

I cannot figure out where the problem lies. Cingular says it's the phone and Treo tells me not to use the screen dial pad. That does not make any difference!!

Does anybody know what is causing this? From the look at some of the posts on this site, it is happening to a lot of Cingular Wireless users.

Please let me know.
