Is it really neccessary to purchase email programs, such as chatter and snappermail, if you have T-Mobile? I don't see any reason to pay the extra cost, as it seems T-Mobile has the mailbox feature.

Am I missing something here? I have a T600 btw.

    TIA

Really depends on what you want from the mail application. If you are happy w/what ya got, don't spend the money. Personally, the push IMAP that Chatter provides is a real asset to me.

    thanks for the prompt response.

I currently have my Hotmail, Comcast, and my work (POP/SMTP) emails setup in Outlook 2003. I would like to be able to send/recieve all emails from outlook on my Treo.

I've always heard the term email push, but do not understand the concept. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

The TMO email feature only send me SMS alerts for some unknown reason, so I deleted all my mailboxes associated to mytmobile.
