toolkit, master speller, tell me how we spell the word, meant. is it m-e-a-n-t? or is it m-e-n-t?

    please, this is ridiculous.

and your reminder was more of an attack than a reminder...
if you're going to be a mod, you really should show quite a bit more discretion than what's been displayed here.
.. quit while you're ahead here. you're wrong. that's it. enough said.
By the time you speak fluent dutch we'll discuss spelling again OK?
I wasnt critisising him on his spelling, merely noticing it wasnt perfect which could hint to my theory he wasn't based in the US.

Toolkit, since you aren't native to, nor live in the US, let me let you in on a little secret:

Foreigners speak and write better english than most Americans do. We are mostly a lazy folk, that like to create slang and abbreviations. Most of our schools don't enforce grammar as strictly as they should.

One would think with the way people are starting to talk and write in this country, we would do something to our education system to fix it, like perhaps requiring some grammar lessons in high school and college. OR, heaven forbid!!!! Actually make our children speak properly and teach them the proper way to write. That would be too much work though. It's better that the underpaid teachers have THAT responsibility.

by the time I speak fluent dutch? lol. this is getting still more ridiculous.
toolkit, if you speak "fluent" dutch, then stick to correcting those who speak dutch. since you don't spell perfect english - obvious from looking at your own posts here, you are the LAST one who should be correcting or pointing out ANYONE'S spelling mistakes in this forum.

by the way, im also just pointing out here that the correct spelling is CRITICIZING, not critisising, toolkit.

I ran right out to the garbage to get what I thought was the latest Pop Sci which I had just tossed, to check this out. Hmmph, I get Popular Mechanics. There is no mention of Shadowmite in Pop Mech, just so you know.

Tool old buddy, lighten up. Everytime you say this is the "last time" it just encourages more responses.

For the rest of you, ease up on our Dutch friend here. He does a good job as a mod (only occasionally getting wild) and his spelling is really not a big deal. We all know what he means.

Yes, I'd like to see any of us spell in Dutch as correctly as ToolKit spells in English.
