i have a treo 600 and when installing the hotsync software it stops responding.

when o go to the task manager it has 3 instances of the msiexec.exe and an idriver.exe.

Now the idriver.exe has a 98% cpu usage. and the software never gets past the first part of the installshield wizard. Even after an hour or more of waiting!

maybe some1 can post a link to the updated installshield wizard?

    desparately need help!!!!!!!!!!!

I just installed my Hot Sync manager but now it keeps asking me for a password and for the life of me I don't know why it's doin that. I've tried putting my user name in there, but nothing works.

Try the last 4 numbers of your phone number!

That didn't work either, I put the entire phone number in there also, but no luck.

If you got to Prefs app, and then got to the Security settings, is there a password assigned on the Treo?

I understand some carriers use the last four of your soc as the password.

    Something to try.

That was it! Thank you so much, I went to security settings and there was a password that I set up, but never use, and that's what it was. Thanks again.
