Hi Folks,

Just couple of threads back my query about keeping my phone always on got resolved. OK, now I leave my phone on while reading eBooks, Maps etc.

BUT I also know the battery problem for Treo600; that the battery is not replacable and so I need to know that once my battery dies down either dump the phone or get that bulky add on battery accessory.

So to conserve the battery I use the phone in "always-on" state only when I have connected my treo to charger.

So now the question - WHEN THE TREO IS CONNECTED TO THE CHARGER CABLE, IS THE POWER CONSUMED FROM THE BATTERY THUS REDUCING MY BATTERY LIFE (although it gets charged simultaneously) OR THE POWER TO THE TREO COMES DIRECTLY FROM THE CABLE THUS NOT EVEN BOTHERING MY BATTERY ???

Sorry if I sound newbie
