    Yech. After my IIIxe and IIIc, I tried a Toshiba e310 and absolutely hated the OS. Yeah, it had some nifty things like mp3 playback and pictures, but now that Palm OS has it, PPC is quite cumbersome and not what I need in a PDA. I can't imagine the processor and memory requirements that MS would require of Palm One to get the OS on the Treo and running at a decent pace.

    Besides, the larger number of developers for Palm OS is a huge advantage in my opinion.

    Too little memory, too slow a processor. Wrong OS for the platform.
