    My Treo 600 is within 500kb of being out of memory. I have added Splash Photo, Docs to go, Agendus, Facer, Snapper Mail and three copies of the Bible with Laridian. Should I delete some apps and move them to the SD card? And, if so, which ones? Thanks for your help............

    Get an app launcher like Zlauncher and move the apps to the card. It works great.
    Palm V-->Visor Deluxe-->Visor Prism-->Visorphone-->Treo 180-->Treo 600-->Treo 650 on Sprint-->Treo 700p-->Centro-->Diamond-->Pre-->HTC EVO 4g???!

    The trick is to leave a chunk of RAM (internal memory) free that is at least as big as your biggest app on the card. Programs that run from the card actually get copied to the internal RAM to run.

    In short, move the apps you use least often to the card. Keep a spare chunk of space about 3-4MB and you will be fine.

    if you're using mybible (laridian), keep the app in ram and move your 3 bibles to the card. those bible databases are huge! i've got 5 versions on my card. if the only thing you move are the bibles, you'll free up a big chunk of ram.
    Banoo... what's that smell?

    To answer your question, uh..., I forgot the question. I, too, must be out of memory.

    Get rid of the Bible and you'll be better off.

    While we're on this topic, I've been trying to clear up some RAM myself and have a general question for the more tech-saavy readers. In FileZ I've sorted my apps in RAM biggest to smallest to see which apps are gobbling up the most memory. Because I'm not all that tech-saavy, I cannot completely distinguish what a few of the biggest offenders are. Specifically, "Email_libr_HsMp_..." is obviously related to my PalmOne email app and is up to 4.9m in memory-munch. All of my email folders are empty in Sent,Delete,Inbox etc. so I'm not sure what this is or what it affects if I delete it...yikes. Also "ImageLib_imageDB" is 2.6m but there aren't any images from my camera in RAM. How do you tech guys and gals handle your RAM cleaning for files/db's like this?

    I use PowerRun with good results.

    Beantown - the file you describe is the Handspring email client's file - there is a known bug that it grows every time you send an outbound email but never shrinks...

    The only fix is to delete that file, at which point you'll have to re-establish your email settings. Hint - when you delete your file and re-establish your email settings, you should then make a backup copy of this empty file so you can use it later, when the file grows and grows again...

    ericdfairchild - thanks for the heads-up and the help. Appreciate it. So I can delete that file without killing or disabling the email app...I'll just need to re-establish the settings. Copy that new file so when the new one grows to large and needs to be deleted, I'll have a backup on the ready that is already configured with my desired settings. This sounds ideal and an instant way to save several megs of RAM.
