    Best "new" or "news" sites?

    The best new site is www.mytreo.net. They accumulated 7,000 members in two or three months.

    The best news sites are probably the BBC and Yahoo.

    Here's a dumb question: Where do you find the "=" sign on the treo keyboard?

    I've become a sucker for Google's new and improved News section - it's like reading a newspaper that's been amalgacized through 4,000 other journalism sources around the world. They do a text-only version that works PERFECTLY for Treos:

    I agree with the google news site. It loads fast and is very comprehensive.
    Palm V-->Visor Deluxe-->Visor Prism-->Visorphone-->Treo 180-->Treo 600-->Treo 650 on Sprint-->Treo 700p-->Centro-->Diamond-->Pre-->HTC EVO 4g???!

    I wondered if the "find" command from keyboard would work in Google News. It did not but the Menu key opens the drop down list and there is a find command there. It will find the first iteration of a term. If you need to keep scrolling, you have to press Menu again and command the search again although the term stays in the search field...at least in my Treo 600 anyway/T-Mobile.

    The find command is a big help if wanting to jump fast to a topic of interest that might be in that long news summary.

    Sadly, I'm stuck with AT&T so don't like to use data much.

    I use Avantgo, which let's my download NYTimes front page, Wash Post, BBC, Forbes and Cato.

    It's got a bunch of others.

    Not up to the minute, but if you sync once a day it's pretty up to date.

    and it don't use no bandwidth!
