I do quite a bit of business in Canada so I frequently call into Canada from the U.S., as well as roam in Canada on occasional business trips. As an AT&T customer I use my minutes throughout North America for a flat $9.99 which is great (they apparently own Rogers in Canada.)

Adding AT&T's Unlimited Data Plan at $49.99/mth is more than Sprint and Cingular, but according to the Sales Reps, neither has a voice plan similar to AT&T's, and the long distance and roaming charges add up fast which would offset the data plan savings.

Considering that reps don't always get the information correct, does anybody have experience with a better alternative from a carrier other than AT&T?
