    Now that i have fallen in love with my Treo, I can't decide what to do with my unlocked MPX200 & accessories? Keep it as an extra phone, just in case? Sell it and buy something simpler as an extra phone or sell it and keep the money (to buy Treo software and accessories). What would you do?

    In this forum, this is really the only acceptable answer.

    I have three phones.

    1. Treo 600 (this is my primary phone. I carry it most of the time.)

    2. Nokia 3560 (this is a work phone. It was given to me by my company and they pay the bills)

    3. Motorola i730 (I sometimes carry this phone on the weekends when I don't need all the power the Treo has to offer. It also allows me to keep up with those of my friends who only use direct connect.)

    I have my Treo 600, a broken Treo 270 (Flip lid broke off), a Nokia 3390, a Nokia 8290, and my original Nokia 6190. The 8920 has some wierd bugs that cause it to crash, but the 3390 and the 6190 still work. I don't know what to do with them, so they sit in a box along with a Palm V and Palm Pilot Pro, awaiting a decision.

    In decending order of use:

    Treo 600, natch.
    Motorola T720
    SonyEricsson T68 (what was I thinking?!)
    Ericsson t60LX (gave it to mom)
    4 Nokia 8320: 2 grey, one red, one blue (3 of them are broken, all within the first week of ownership. Total POS!)
    Nokia 8860, my first true love affair (the oh-so-sexy chrome slider, it ceased to be to no apparent reason)
    Nokia 6210 (beat that thing to death, broke the antennae so many times, the thing STILL works)
    Nokia 2110 (candy apple red, still works)

    And...

    Motorola TeleTac 200. After nuclear war, the only things left will be cockroaches and those Motorola phones.

    I thought the question was "how many phones do you HAVE" as in currently. Not how many have you had in your lifetime.

    Two, my Treo 600 and a Motorola Timeport, which I keep in the car for emergencies since it can do analog. Man the Timeport is one tough phone! Ive dropped it countless times on concrete, let it bake in sun until it would display funky crap and require reset, kicked it down hard stairs, thrown it across rooms... No, Im not a violent person, I wanted to see just how much it could take.

    Actually, they're all sitting in my closet... except for the 6110. I gave that one a proper burial. ;-)

    Besides I only use the Treo now. I'm a one-phone man.

    Same, here. I still have all of mine. I use my old 270 as a 911 phone and I plan on using that one when I go to China this summer. The other phones I use if I'm going to a concert or something where I'm concerned that my phone could get broken or stolen. Some of them are backup phones for my wife because she has a tendency to drop her phone.

    I have one...my Treo 600. Not even a landline. If something happens, I have lockline. And 1 or 2 days without a phone will probably be a vacation. I did the same when I had my Kyocera 6035 and also with my Nokia 5170. No major issues.
    Me = Nokia 5170/Palm III > Kyocera 6035 > Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 700p > Treo 755p > Treo Pro > Palm Pre

    Wife = Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 755p > Palm Centro > Palm Pixi

    I got the Treo 600 as my main phone and keep an unlocked t68i in my drawer for emergency if the Treo 600 breaks.

    Yeah, that's the point.

    The question was looking for people that carry or use more than one phone or those who only carry or use only one phone.

    Not people who have thirty phones in their closet that don't work. If they don't work then you aren't using them, except maybe as paper weights.

    I have a T-600, Sony/Ericson T608 on Sprint, and a BMW (motorola??) for my car since BMW can't make the bluetooth work to support the t608.

    Thanks everyone for your input. I still don't know what to do. I want an extra phone, just in case or for times when i am in an environment where i dont' want to subject the T600 to any harm. I may just keep the MPX200 as it is paid for and don't have to deal with selling it and buying something else and it's small enough that i can just throw it in my pocket. I just wish it wasn't such a pain swapping SIM cards, the Treo rules in that department.
