Would anybody be interested in being able to control their Treo 600 via speech recognition (aka voice dialing)? If so, would you be willing to pay for it and how much? Later.

I had a feeling that request would be coming now that the new firmware is "available". Definitely would be up for it

I'm definitely interested. Maybe $10. Since it WAS a standard feature with both my previous phones, I don't think I should have to pay much to have it on this phone. No offense to you Ryan.

    Definetely interested!
    10-15 $

I'm assuming you mean currently only for GSM versions?

I'd pay $10-15 as well (after the update is available for us Sprint users, of course). Will we be able to hold down the answer/end call button on our headsets to activate voice dialing?

or maybe the vol. buttons for one handed calling that would be cool

Of course, Sprint folks can already pay for voice dialing which works very well. Our entire Address Book can be voice recognized, or we can voice dial individual numbers.

Yeah, but that's $5 a month and I ain't really feeling that. I guess my old Samsung and Sanyo phones spoiled me too much with it being integrated and free. I'd rather pay Ryan's one time fee.

Hell yeah Ryan, sign me up. I'm with Sprint and don't pay the extra for voice dialing because it's recurring. I'd love to help support this project, even if it's just in the works. Put me in the $10-15 slot for a purchase, and if you need funds to get started put me in the $20 donation catagory.

All my previous Nokia phones have voice dialing integrated into the phone. I would love to be able to voice dial on my Treo 600. I think $10-12 would be a fair price for such an application.

Palm should provide it for free... all the money we paid and it doesn't have all the features that FREE phones have?

Not sure that I would use it but what the heck, Id pay $15 just so I could say "Yes" when people ask me if my super-duper phone can do that. BTW thanks for allowing me to say "Yeah" when people ask if it can do movies
