What hi-tech mobile geek wouldn't want to be seen at the acadamy awards with this:

    http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=2381

    Snippet of article:

"Marrying star fashion with the latest in must-have high tech, palmOne and celebrity shoe designer Stuart Weitzman have produced the first-ever bejeweled smartphone. For this year's Academy Awards, a Treo 600 smartphone from palmOne will be clad in clear and cognac-colored topaz Swarovski crystals and carried by 17-time Grammy award-winning country singer Alison Krauss. Her Treo 600 smartphone will match Cinderella-inspired shoes from Weitzman, valued at US$2 million."

    Gotta love it!

I'm a bit below the diamond encrusted income level, myself, but maybe I could afford a Rhinestone Cowboy version.

Forget jewel encrusted. Any one can glue stuff to a phone. How about making a really cool "Fassion" upgrade. Remake the 5 way nav out of Platinum, and remake the center button out of Yellow gold. Remake the other buttons below the screen out of white gold. Remake the letter keys out of Yellow Gold and Silver (Silver for the number pad part). Remake the case out of Titinum. And remake all the other buttons/switches out of other pretious metals. Not only would that add to it looks, it would also make the phone more durable.
