I am interested to see what everyone's favorite software for the Treo is. Whether it be for communication, utility, fun, etc., it doesn't matter.

Here is how we should do it. List your favorite 3 programs.

    I'll start:

    1. Business Connection (Sprint's e-mail)
    2. Vindigo (subscription city guide service)
    3. SMS (Sprint's new messaging system)

Can't wait to hear everyone else's. This should be interesting.

True, there are many posts/threads on this subject with some great ideas. Still, here are mine:
    1. SnapperMail (much discussed here, so do a search on it)
    2. WorldMate (love this app. It takes care of weather, time, currency and more all live updates ).
    3. StockManager (live updates of the stocks you are keeping track of. It also gives charts and tables. Very cool app).

    Go shopping

    1. Snappermail - I use it the most. The "junk" feature was by itself worth the price.

    2. Pocket Tunes Deluxe. Steaming turns the Treo into a whole new beast. If you don't have it, you are missing out.

    3. MarkMyScriptues - I always have my important docs with me.
    Palm V-->Visor Deluxe-->Visor Prism-->Visorphone-->Treo 180-->Treo 600-->Treo 650 on Sprint-->Treo 700p-->Centro-->Diamond-->Pre-->HTC EVO 4g???!

I assume it is good for repairing your own car?..

Not so much for reparing it, but tuning it...

Engine Tuning - Automobile enthusiasts use the Dyno-Scan to assist in obtaining the most performance possible from an engine. Did that engine modification really make more horsepower? How fast is my car in the 1/4 mile? The scan tool Record/Playback feature can also be used to record engine sensors, such as ignition timing advance, as the vehicle travels down the drag strip. After the run, performance data is reviewed and compared to previous runs or other vehicles. Ignition timing advance in particular is useful for determining when the ECU's knock retard is kicking in.
    NesEM is nice too. ;-)

I guess I should have been more clear. Which version did you install? There are several versions depending on the Palm device. I have yet to get one to work.

    Thanks,

I'd love to know wich version too, as Certicom told me it will not work on the 600 until they finish their next release, which they estimated another 4-6 weeks until available. I can get it to install and successfully connect, after tweaking my vpn concentrator, but the tcp/ip stack is not being controlled by the IPsec driver, so I am unable to pass any traffic through to my internal network. I've tried changing every conceivable setting on both sides of the connection, always with the same results.
