True. But you can choose only the eMails you really need. I narrowed it down to one account only. Food for thoughts.

No you can't. I was very excited and signed up...only to find out that the mobile service does not support Palm OS.

But it was a good idea

Works like a champ for me! I have hotmail set up to send me an alert anytime that I get a email on my hotmail account from someone in my contacts list. Where are you going to where it says there is no plam support?
    It does it via SMS.
Goto MSN ALerts (Via mobile MSN), sign/login, goto MSNhotmail then to "Change your hotmail alert filters.
    Mobile Alerts

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Be notified on your pager or cell phone when new e-mail arrives at your Hotmail account (does not include messages filtered to the Trash Can or Junk E-Mail folders). To change your MSN Mobile account information, please visit the MSN Mobile page.

This is what I see there.
Notify me of each new e-mail message I receive.
Notify me only when I receive e-mail from someone in my Contacts.
Notify me only when arriving e-mail meets one of the following criteria

Do you have the URL for the Mobile Hotmail site?
    Let me know...

Is the mobile friendly view (WAP) for hotmail. this is where you view the hotmail on your Treo. The setup for alerts can be done from the main site your PC. BTW, you can also goto this WAP site with your PC. Cilick on it, it would be great for a slow dialup account.

    I use MSN mobile alerts

The site www.stolencarreports.com is nice and timely. My boss just had his Audi stolen. I'm going to tell him to use the service and wait to get an alert about his car.
