(If this is posted in the wrong forum I apologize in advance.)

I'm most likely moving from Sprint to T-Mobile next month and getting a Treo 600. Since I've been on CDMA for years, how does the SIM card work exactly with a phone like the Treo?

I know on regular phones you can save your phone numbers to the card, but on a Treo you use Palm's address book. How does this cross over? And if I switch phones after the 600, and say, get a regular non-smartphone, would those numbers go over to the new phone?

    Yes and no. :P

You actually wind up with both using the Treo, cause you have your entire address book, but you can also save to your sim card, so that if you do need to change phones for whatever reasons, while you won't have your entire address book, you can have whatever your sim card holds.

    Thanks for the reply.

How do you specify where to save it? In the palm addressbook? Or is there a seperate SIM card app?

Go to SimBook in your Treo menu.
