The one really annoying thing about the treo seems its inability to hang up on one call at a time. On my old 6035 it was easy to end the current call and then pick up the incoming call. Here is the scenario:

I'm on the phone with my office. The love of my life calls. I tell my office that I'll call them back. I hang up and answer the call from my honey.

On the treo 600, the only alternative seems to be to hang up both calls and to have my treo call back the incoming call - impossible if the incoming call is from a blocked caller ID - like my wife's office.

Any software out there for that? This sounds like a real programming glitch - did the treo designers never use a phone before?
    Cheers

Wow that really sucks. I also noticed the same issue when doing a conference call. Once all the calls are conferenced you can't toggle between the callers nor can you release one of the callers without hanging up on both calls and calling the other party back.

This is an issue that I mentioned in this thread:
    http://discussion.treocentral.com/tc...43703/s/h.html

It is a shame that they have changed the interface from the 180/270 that was killer.

I (admittedly) haven't really followed the threads about this -- has anyone seen news that there will be an update that will revert it back to how my 270 used to work?

Check the thread again, there's a less-inconvenient way to handle this (not ideal, but doesn't require you to call back):

I think the backspace trick only works on the Sprint (CDMA) version, not on the GSM version.
