Look at the very nice IR led ON TOP of the stand - no need to use the treo upside down any more!

I mean, with no mirror - as far as I can see, the Belkin has to use a mirror:

Shoot. I just bought the Belkin keyboard. I think I'd rather have the other.

Anyone want to buy the Belkin from me?

Would the Treos be supported on this Keyboard?
I'm not familiar with Handspring's other models and don't see the Treos specifically mentioned.

There is a free Hack or DA (whichever you prefer) called 'Flip Hack'. It flips the image on the Treo 180 degrees (or 90, if you so wish).

So, Treo still needs to be turned upside down but the image is the right way up.

The driver app for the keyboard includes this function. It's a nuisance though, having to straighten out the screen when you're done with the keyboard.
I manage without using it, but as I've mentioned before, it takes a bit of patience to find the correct placement of the keyboard relative to the stand.

So who's brave enough to try one with the Treo and post a review? I've been the pink eyed white rat enough times already - somebody else's turn.
    ;-)

What I can't figure out is what holds the treo on there and keeps it from falling over - especially with the flip open. If the answer is velcro, that's not good since I don't want to stick anything to the back of my treo (interferes with holster...)

    Thanx

Has anyone tried this one yet? It actually claims to be "Treo 300" compatable. I wonder if that means 270 as well?? HMMMMMM

It says "coming soon," so I doubt anyone has tried it yet.

I have just been informed by PDA-Mart that this keyboard is not compatible with Treos.

I just heard from Targus that their keyboard will be available in 2-3 weeks.

I have one of these that I am using with the Treo and it is a bit of a balancing act but it does work.

Rusty, on the reorientation software, my Treo always crashes when I try to use this with Blazer. Do you have the same issue??

Thank you for pointing that out! (And yes, it does crash Blazer on my unit, requiring a soft reset.)
I thought that the entire keyboard driver was incompatable with Blazer, because I first used the keyboard with the screen flipped to the left and the Treo propped up on a pink rectangular eraser. I didn't ever check with the screen in normal orientation!
Now all they need to do is map the Ctrl key to the Treo's blue Option key, the Alt key to the dropdown alternate character menu (0 without the option key), and have Alt + up-arrow/down-arrrow/enter emulate the jog dial...
    (Ok, I'm dreaming here...)

The keyboard driver needs a Treo keyboard shortcut (the Grafitti shorcut is useless on the Treo), and should be able to disable itself temporarily when the user beams data out.

Well, if Belkin doesn't answer about updating the driver I might return it for this one then. While the stand looks more solid than Belkin's, the right shift key looks a bit small in the pictures. It's nice that we are getting some choices.

I agree. Let me know what Belkin says about a driver. I may return mine also. I think I only have 14 days with Outpost.com.

This looks like the ENRtech keyboard. According to my e-mail from ENRtech it is compatible with the treo 300.

However, I have not bought or tested it.
