Is there a way to enter phone extensions in the phone book and get the treo to use them? I see you can do it with the speed dial entries, but I was wondering about in the regular phone book?

yes. i got it to work by using commas (,,,) and then the extension.

i.e., in your address book for john smith, the telephone number is listed as 111.222.3333,,,17

    and 17 is the extension

    works like a charm...

    What treo do you have?
I tried that on my 270 and didn't do a thing!

I have a treo 300. It should work. maybe you need more or less commas to do it.
