A friend who works at AT&T had a spare HP Veer he gave me and its a real fun device to add to my collection. I had many Palm Pre's I planned installing openwebOS on, but that may not happen. But with homebrew faith, it might one day...

I went through my box of old devices and this is what I have...a bunch of sprint palm pre's, 1 franken pre2, veer & my touchpad....Who else has a rediculous amount of hardware sitting around?

Note: Only active device is the TouchPad which I got between webOS & cm9.

I had high hopes to use webOS again, but currently use a Sprint Galaxy Nexus. Only way I see using a webOS device as a daily driver is with a dual boot setup if its even possible down the road. I cant imagine losing my apps I have on my Nexus now. This pile of phones makes me depressed of what should have been.

anyway, mine is a bit more spartan. A single Pre 2 is my only webOS device.

2 unlocked pre2. 1 touchpad . 1 pre3

touchpad only being used cause of caller id not working properly with att pre3 that was unlocked on fido network. when there a fix for that good bye crappy android. will use webos anyway over everything but i need caller id or else no choice.

HP Touchpad - still a daily driver.

2 Verizon Pre 2's - both were used to Franken, and both were used until a month ago.

4 (5?) Pre-'s - two unusable; 3 still usuable.

2 Pixi's - one broken, one good.

Can I count that Centro that still works, and the Samsung i-500 that ran Palm? How about the Palm PDA's that I still have lying around?

(Also had, but no more - Pre 3 that I sold)

4 touchpads, pre 3, pre 2, pre+, pre-. The pre3 and pre- are currently active, the pre2 and pre+ are reserved as developer test devices at the moment. I was hoping the wave of people on twitter the other day going "OMG I'M GIVING UP ON MY WEBOS DEVICES!" would result in some free Pixis or Veers being sent my way, but no such luck so far. I'd like to get the kids moved up from feature phones. And I have a mind to make monitoring their phone usage ridiculously easy with some patches

Moving from a feature phone to another feature phone(webOS devices), don't really get it. I think that you should really move them into a much smarter phones than just features phones.

I have as of now a Pixi Plus (Unlocked),HP Veer (Unlocked), Pre 2 (Unlocked), Touchpad (16, 64 GB versions) with the 16 GB having a triple boot setup of as of 2 days ago WebOS, CM10, and Archlinux. My White one is very much a WebOS only device, and I ordered my Pre 3 (Unlocked) 4 days ago.

We have 4 teenagers, and frankly -- teenagers are, in general, not very trustworthy. (Yes there are exceptions, our 4 are not one of them) One of them is turning into a needlessly pathological liar. I want them to have phones where the parents can monitor them if they need to. If we do manage to get OWOS running on legacy phones, I intend to have quite a custom version for monitoring purposes. Even if not, I intend to patch the phone and messaging apps to do some special things.

Amazingly all of them still work -- though I don't use the treo as a phone anymore.
