Is there a way I can hotsync my Treo 300 with Linux using the included USB cable? I have seen that you could do it with a serial cable a while back... I hardly ever use M$ at home so I'd appreciate an alternative way...

The Visor HOWTO will give you all the information you need. All the Visor stuff works for the Treo, as well.

I use the pilot-link tools for just about everything I do with the Treo and my computer.

FWIW, gnome-pilot also works well with the Treo 270. But, if IIRC, both the Treo 90 and the Treo 300 are still unsupported by the Linux kernel. 180 and 270 are OK, though.

I've been told that the 2.4.20 kernel does support the treo 300. I'll post a follow up after I've tried it. =)
