    HP paid 1.2 billion dollars for Palm. It is now writing off that investment. If they had sold Touchpads at a $200 loss through their own web site for $99 and $150 they could have sold 6,000,000 Touchpads and they would have had a sufficient base for APPS to be written.

    That is without considering that in addition all of their printers and PC's would have had WEB OS installed.

    Now they have idiotically announced that they "may" sell or spinoff the PC division.


    They have committed corporate suicide.

    Yes so why buy a HP computer now?

    I say force HP to fire the CEO don't buy HP computers

    I'm sure the Idioticness will include dumping the printers too......... Some of the best in the world
