    Hi,

is there any way to disable the auto power off function on a treo?

I have a picoBasic Programm that runs a longer procedure, but the running program always gets breaked by the power off signal

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Open a new memo:

Type the following into the new memo:

    :shortcut: .3 without any spaces.

The :shortcut: is keyed by pressing "s" then the list key button "...".

The text will then change to "[No Auto-off]"

How long this lasts I do not know. But it should work if you do that, then start your program.

With the :shortcut: .3 trick -- I take it that by saving the memo, that stores the feature...and deleting the memo removes the feature?

I can't comfirm that, as I haven't played around enough with that feature.

    My experience is:

It works from the moment you enter the .3 code and the text changes. It worked for more than 45 minutes with my treo.

I remove it by manually changing the auto power off time back and forth once in the setup.

This does work, but I deleted the memo and it still worked. Soft Reset to restore.
