Remember, Elevation and Palm execs first found Ruby on a hammock in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico when they tried to lure him to Palm.

I think he was sent by HP to support the start up (entrepreneurship) program in Mexico.

IMHO it might mean a lot of HP devices for the business starters , including webOS devices, with promotion prices. Similar to the US start up program HP/White House.

John Rubinstein, "inventor of the iPod". No mention of Palm or webOS or HP

Possibly because he didn't invent webOS nor HP but DID in fact invent the iPod?

Ahh. So he plucked a regular, garden-variety iPod from a tree and by sheer luck found a HDD small enough to put inside its husk?
That's definitely not as impressive then.

I guess it's true what they say, no matter how many people work for Apple, the only person you're legally allowed to credit with anything is Steve Jobs (with some tiny credit due to Jony Ives).
