    I cannot get the palm sdk to install on my computer, im using ubuntu 11.04
    ive tried to download the sdk then install via the software center and that didnt work, whenever i execute any of the srcipts on the hp website they also dont work??

    how am i supposed to install it?

    (im new the ubuntu and webos hence the n00b questions)

    2. What exactly is the problem (errormsg, Screenshot) What did you execute.

    Nobody would be able to answer your question otherwise.

    Sorry i was still half asleep when i posted this i have attached screenshot
    im using ubuntu 11.04 and on the sdk download site there is no specific script for 11.04

    so i ran this script 'sudo dpkg -i --force-architecture palm-sdk_2.1.0-svn409992-pho519_i386.deb' which is on the site for installing on a 64 bit system (i attached a screenshot of the terminal below)

    Here are some screenshots,
    i ran the script "sudo dpkg -i --force-architecture palm-sdk_2.1.0-svn409992-pho519_i386.deb" from https ://developer.palm.com/content/index.php? id=4962

    and i tried install it from a package i downloaded from the same site

    Hi, you downloaded the file to the Downloads folder (ok, Firefox did) and you're running the ipkg command from your home folder.

    type:
    cd Downloads

    then type the ipkg command again

    i just ran the command from the download section via the terminal and this is what i got:
    i
    michael@ubuntu:~/Downloads$ sudo dpkg -i palm-sdk_2.1.0-svn409992-pho519_i386.deb
    [sudo] password for michael:
    dpkg: error processing palm-sdk_2.1.0-svn409992-pho519_i386.deb (--install):
    package architecture (i386) does not match system (amd64)
