use this thread as noted above ^

Hm Ill Add, today at the Sprint store the guy was directing me towards the Evo, when I asked about the new hp/Palm phones he told me he has not heard of any new devices, and if their were that he would probably even pick a Blackberry Style over them o.o

a sprint rep told me that a palm rep had recently visited the store. Based on the palm rep's visit he thought palm would be coming out with some new devices soon.

I believe sprint will get webOS phones . The question is how well it's built and how well it sales will determine how many phones sprint gets .

I remember a rep saying that the Pre was updatable to 4g through a firmware update. I didn't believe him and we argued for a few minutes before I gave up and walked away.

I remember a rep telling me that the Pre failed internal quality tests but that certain persons at Sprint pushed out the phone anyway because they wanted an iphone competitor product on the market ASAP. Apparently they got fired.

oh you can argue a lot on phrases that are not really defined in a sharp way. i might be wrong but i think a lot of devices sell 4g labeled while actually meaning hsdpa/hsupa or other on-top-of-umts/cdma features that would better be labeled 3.9G since they basically existed since 3G but kind of "scaled" up until "almost LTE" now... hmm... talking europe here

None of these so called 4g services are actually 4g especially t-mobile . Lol
