nope, the most elegant design is the most simple design, look at iPhone, or galaxy tab.

Pre design is perfect, like a beautiful pebble. what it needs, is a thinner design, with a higher quality hardware and higher screen resolution, plus front facing camera, etc.

Bionic has too many wrinkles here and there.

What it needs is not keyboard and no curve. But I agree clevin too many wrinkles.

If it's a clone, it's not running WebOS. Can you clarify what you mean? I'm not being picky, I just would like a post in the Palm Pre thread to have something (even remotely) to do with the Palm Pre. (thanks)
    I'm both super! ... and a doer!

sorry for not being clear. the next pre should look like the bionic and sport very similar specs. as for the OS: webos

dual core is a must to be considered a real superphone. and the screen needs to be 4+" if we're gona get stuck paying $30-$40 per month for internet.

if this thread should be moved or closed, feel free to do so.

It doesn't have to be a single model

HPalm can put out up to three models to satisfy size fanatics.

Bionic has a 640x360 screen, I would hope next pre to be better than that.

And they use too much scripting on their website, as I can't see anything. :P

Motorola shouldn't be a standard for anything. HTC, however, is a different story.

There's no space in the Droid Bionic for a gesture area, so no.

Just put it where the Android standard buttons are at the bottom. Problem solved.

I would say it's likely that something resembling this will be announced on Feb. 9.

I would bet that all the products HP is going to announce are OEM products with aesthetical/operational mods (like gesture areas, and so on).

Not bad news, but just using preexistent (not old, just previously designed) electronic components.

Both are great hardware manufacturers.. DroidX is strong signal build and style. Thin with huge screen realestate and a soft touch feel.

You clone Android and you lose with new customers. You need to show something new and not simply launch 4 Android clones. I am think about toaster capabilities mainly.

Bionic? are you kidding me? I think you mean Atrix. I don't want a clone of the Atrix. But that phone is something else. It has the exact same specs as the BIONIC (except size). It has its own laptop, desktop dock, and wireless Tv dock, where you can run all the apps in browser windows or full screen, as well as use the phone as a wireless mouse and keyboard for the TV dock.

I prefer WebOS to andriod, but Damn! that phone is a beast. Though I know it is far too late to take cues from this device I hope HP already had this in mind.
