I switched to a plam Pre plus about a year ago from a blackberry. With the Blackberry i had to have the Enterprise data package because of the BB using the BES. For some reason when i switched to the Pre, they kept my data package the same. I am assuming that they did this because i use the outlook Exchange activesync.

My question is weather or not anyone here is using activesync on their Pre plus with the cheaper plan? I don't want to pay $45 if i don't need to.

    Thanks

    Justin

when I was on Verizon, I could switch to the $30 cheaper data plan but I think I had to drop activesync in order to do it. Why don't you call Verizon?

Verizon actually requires you to have a data plan if you have a phone that has 3G capability.
