not really treo related, but since so many of us are with voicestream, i thought I'd pass this along.

I was on the national 500 anytime minute plan, and noticed on t-mobile's site, the same plan ($39.99 monthly) now has 600 minutes! But the changeover is *not* automatic. I just got off the phone with T-mobile and changed over to the 600 minute plan. (same cost)

I'm not sure about the other minute plans, but if you haven't looked yet, you may want to.

Is this national, because when I alerted people a while ago of this change, it was on a region by region basis.

Actually, I just talked to them, and the plan changes automatically and it is STILL nationwide. You get 600 minutes now rather than 500!! Now if we can just get unlimited GPRS for a fixed rate!

Boy, am I glad I upgraded to the $39.95 plan a week ago.
I now get 1000 anytime minutes, unlimited weekends, free LD and roaming, etc.......

When I look now on the combined T-Mobile site, the same plan offers us N. CA folks *600* minutes instead.

And here I thought the woman was just trying to do a fast sell on me when she warned, "I'd take this offer soon, sir, because it's not likely to last much longer..."

    Whew!

Not sure what the moral of this story is, I just thought I'd share
