HP Zeen Tablet with Zeus Printer May Be Ready by September

Ľ HP Zeen Tablet with Zeus Printer May Be Ready by September Cartridge News: - Presented by LD Products Inc.

Itís tough to be everything to everyone, but apparently HP will try to do exactly that with the Android-powered Zeen tablet. Initial reports on the specs seem to depict the Zeen as a hybrid between your basic all-purpose touchscreen tablet and an e-reader like the Kindle or Nook. According to Engadget, the new device will be e-reading-integrated with Barnes & Nobleís Nook bookstore, and it will be available in a package with the new Zeus printer for $399. No official word on when itís coming out, but rumor has it that it may be available by September.

Whether the rumors are true or not, a Zeen-Zeus package makes sense considering the recent moves by HP. In fact, by integrating Palm webOS into its web-connected touchscreen printers, it seems that HP is aiming to make printing as versatile and accessible as possible from mobile devices. Itís hard to say whether e-book printouts from the Zeus will look as good as a customized blog2print hard copy, but avid readers probably wonít mind having a more versatile e-reading option on the market.
