I'd agree, except rather than "PMP" I'd call it a PDA. It'll be everything webOS is, only without cellular and 3G/4G radios.

Then again, calling an iPod Touch a "PMP" is probably inaccurate as well. So I might just be pedantic here.

Aquariums, snow blowers, and cordless screwdrivers.
I don't understand the purpose of the line, I don't need to drink to have fun. Great, no one does. But why start a fire with flint and sticks when they've invented the lighter?

Let's all give thanks to the app that started it all.

Aside from smartphones, tablets and printers..

    ATM machines,
    cash registers/point-of-sales units,
    fax/scanning machines,
    pen based tablet devices,
    cable/TV guide interfaces,
portable music players (actually, ALL entertainmnt system hardware),
    hard-line telephone units,
    domestic security systems,
    portable GPS units.

I'd love to have an enterprise level WebOS printer/copier/Fax for the office. being able to use WebOS to scan and send my documents would be awesome.

please can i have a webos watch. And hopefully uncle Phil has already got one.

    this would.
    1. Tell the time.
    2. Show notifications. And allow texts etc to be read.
    3. Show dashboard controls. Imagine using bt headphones and changing tracks from your watch.
4 talk to the phone via bluetooth.

I'd love to see it integrated into a car. I realize HP doesn't make those, but it could be far more encompassing then MS sync. GPS, blue-tooth to your phone, customizable digital rpm, speed gauges, etc. on your dash. Imagine swiping away your old trip meter and TRUE dashboard notifications.

I want to see a WebOS TV to come out right around the same time the Apple TV comes out.

    That would be AWESOME.

    Seems rather pointless to me....
Especially when HDMI out is a standard feature for smartphones now

It's mainly because Apple is coming out with a TV and HP keeps trying to hint at multiple devices communicating with each other...etc...

I'd rather have a standalone TV with WebOS embedded in it to navigate through channels, can you imagine viewing a different channel in a different card? "Flipping through channels" will NEVER be the same. .

Back on topic: I would rather have a TV with WebOS installed and to control my cable/TV in more intuitive ways than to just plug my phone into a TV every time I want to watch anything...
